2 Interface = 1024 Channels?

Guys don't blame me for asking this... I found some older post that say it was not possible at the time.
Simple question: Does Freestyler support 1024 Channels? 2 Interfaces needed?
Currently I use the USB2DMX (512) by JMS.

To to get more than 512 channels of dmx, you add "universes". Freestyler only supports 1 universe.
do you really need more than 512 channels?

No freestyler doesn't support 2 interfaces as of yet. There is a version in programming to support 2 interfaces but I'm afraid it's not available at the moment, however you could run two versions of freestyler on two separate laptops if you REALLY need more interfaces. But personally I would look at other options for controlling if your using more interfaces as it could get more challenging with a laptop.

at events we run 3 instances of freestyler at 3 different Artnet nodes. we have a dense enviroment with failover possibilities and it works great on a Touchscreen laptop
