Windows 8 questions

I assume that FreeStyler works with Windows 8 as it did with previous versions?

If so, I'm wondering if the touchscreen functionality of many Windows 8 tablets and laptops will make this app very easy to use in real-time?

I haven't used FreeStyler in a couple years, and am going to need to jump back into it. I'll need a new host machine, and was thinking that a Windows 8 laptop or even tablet may be the way to go.

Hey,
I don't use windows 8 myself but the way things are going with apps and stuff, it seems that it's alright on windows 8. There's been a few issues as you can expect with apps and stuff like that, but my advice is jump back in like you say and have a play around founding out what's best for you.

Welcome back 8-)

Has anyone installed FreeStyler on a Win 8 tablet and used it to directly control the lighting through a USB interface?

i have used Windows 8 and freestyler and it Works GREAT!!!!!
if you ask me it work better then on win7.

Very cool. Now I just need to see if I can use the tablet to do the same thing... some of them don't allow you to install apps not found in their Store, some do... thanks for your help!
