How to blackout fixtures not in chase [SOLVED]

Hi all,

I'm fiddeling around and try to create an easy way to toggle some lightshows.

I'm working with led pars and scans.

I created some chases with the pars and some scan chases. however when i use the cue page, fixtures stay in last position when play stopped. f.e. i played a scene with the scans and then stop it, scan stays on with last position of shutter, gobo, color and lamp on. As i do not want to have the scans active all night, they need to blackout when not in use.

I'd like my fixtures to black out automatically when not in use in a chase or cue. Is there any possability?

Hi there

I would say it would be good to use ORB (override buttons) in this situation where you can program the blackouts you need. It works as an OFF and On switch so when you click it, blackout on, click it again, blackout off. Read about them here

For the other thing you've asked in regards to cues and them staying on the last position of each attribute (colour, pan, tilit, gobo etc) then use the Restore values which I've highlighted below in the picture. If you click this then whatever cue is on that line it will restore it to STEP 1 when you click stop.

(It will be coloured in, when active on that cue)

On reading your post I am making the assumption you are actually controlling your fixtures from the cue page. Have a think about using the cues assigned to cue list buttons and submasters. Have a look here:
