Manual trigger problem

Advice please, I have a sequence on the cue page which I want to step through manually.
However when I press "start" for that sequence it begins stepping through all the steps, Once I press the "manual trigger" button then it responds correctly only stepping when I press "manual trigger"
How do I get the sequence to the first step waiting for the "manual trigger" button to be pressed.

The only thing I can imagine is to have a long 1st step duplicated as the second step - "start" the sequence, remember to press "manual trigger" - then the sequence should be sitting on the second step waiting for another press of the "manual trigger" - but this does seem a convoluted solution.

Hope I explained this well.
Thanks
PS I know about the "react to trigger" setting for each cue, but this only appears to exclude sequences from being affected by the "manual trigger" ans "tap sequence" buttons

Hey there Roy! I'm looking for the exact same solution. Have you had any success? I see this post is almost 2yo and nobody replied to it.

Thanks man!

Sorry Fernando, but I didn't find a "proper" solution.

The method I "imagined" was the only way I found to control a single sequence manually.

Good Luck

hi

never seen this post before.

but by default there is no lighting desk i know that does this.
maby a theater desk can do it.

be aware all sequence that listen to the tap sync or manuel tap will effected by this.

if this is no problem you can use bomes midi translator and midiyoke to create a vurtial midi conetion to FS.
and use keyboard keys to trigger a Seq+ manual tap at the same time.
i think it will trigger directly to Step 2 but if you make step 1 blank its no problem.
amd use manuel tap to tap thru the steps
