Hi, i'm not sure if I'm using cues right or not. I've created a single frame sequence that just sets my LED RGBW Parcans to Red, and added that to the Cue List. I then created another 4-frame sequence that goes from Red->Green->Blue->White, and added that to the cue list as well.

When I press play next to the Red-only cue, everything goes red. When I stop that and then play the color loop, and stop it (say, it stops on white), then I go back and play my red-only cue, wherever the last cue stopped in the loop, those LEDs remain on, and the red leds turn on. So in this case, I stop the loop on white, then play the "everything red", and I get red and white LEDs that are on. How would I just get it back to only the red LEDs?

This is normal behaviour for FS. If you 'interrupt' a cue by launching another, FS will still output DMX values for the first cue ( that's why your red cue still has some other colours showing). Search the forum for LTP behaviour to find out why this happens.

A quick way to change this is to program the red cue as an override (overrides are sequences that can only ever have one step). If you launch your coloured chase it will do as expected, if you then hit the override, it will strictly apply the override sequence (make sure when you program the sequence you have all the other colour channels as 'off'). When you release the override, the colour chase will resume. Great for strobes, blinders, fixture auto modes etc.

The other way around it is to turn OFF the current cue button and activate the next one, when you shut it down, all values go to 0.

Just to get a idea how LTP works.

so if you create Separte seqeunces Red, Green, Blue.

and you playback the red seq. you will Get red off course.
Now if you playback the green Seq. you will get Yellow. becuase Red+green is Yellow.
now if you playback the Blue Seq. you get White. Red+Green+Blue is White..

This happins because you Only added one Color (Channel) to the Seq..

Now if you create the sequence like this.
Red, 255 Fade or Snap
Green, 0 Fade or Snap
Blue, 0 Fader or Snap

Now this seq will allways be RED because it sets the Green and Blue channel to 0
