Is there an option to align/Offset Moving head fixtures?

I'm running 2 moving head Chauvet 260's and I always wish I could "align" the units so that they are exactly the same in terms of pan/tilt. Otherwise when you setup your scenes you have to set each one so that you can use them together as a spotlight or for effect. Same goes with scanners and other devices. I'm guessing that there is a setting for this so I thought I'd ask you guys for some help.

Also, just a dump question.. Whenever I run some of my devises using pan/tilt then "set fan" to set a pattern, the devices run in the pattern, but when I disable the "set fan" the devices become unresponsive. I have to unplug my adapter and reboot. Anyone else have this happen? Im running a mac with parallels installed and Windows 7 with a guss electronics dmx adapter.

It's not really possible to keep them permanently 'corrected' as they go. For example applying a 10 degree clockwise correction to the pan on one fixture while the beams face forwards might make them point at the same spot, but when they have turned 90 degrees and both point left or right that extra 10 degrees would then be causing them to seperate.

The closest - and actually surprisingly good method of this type of following - aka 'tracking' is probably to program with easyview visualiser on (I have edited the beam images on my easyview to include a central black pixel that I can use for aligning quite precisely). It's good enough for my movers to be preprogrammed to spotlight first dances, etc.
