For some reason, my par cans dim out when i switch between chases in my submasters. I can not figure out how or why. in each chase, the color values are correct, and not on black out... can someone try to point me in the right direction to what it might be?

if you create a Sequence you will see a OFF,FADE or SNAP sign next to each Fixture channel..

if you use the Submaster be SURE!!! that if you create a Sequence only the Parcans you add to the Sequence are set to FADE or SNAP and nothing else. same count for all the other sequences you make..

Pan Seq, ONLY containce PAN Channel
tilt Seq, ONLY containce tilt Channel
Parcan Seq, ONLY containce PANcans Channel
Gobo Seq, ONLY containce Gobo Channel (or i also add the focus to this one)
Colorwheel Seq, ONLY containce colorwheel Channel
Dimmer Seq, ONLY containce Dimmer Channel
Shutter Seq, ONLY containce Shutter Channel

if you mix this other Seq can Disable the wrong Channel

I understand that, but If i only play the color sequence, I open the submaster, and the second I select the sequence it fades out. this is only with a certain type of par, the other works just fine

A little update, the chases work fine if you play them through the editor, but the second I play them through the cue list or submaster they just fade to black right away. this is only with my one type of par which is wierd. I am running no other chases that would be conflicting, just the color chase one
