Hey homie did anyone get back to about the kinta profile or did you figure it out im still trying to make one work you know.

Just looked over the manual, this should be a nice easy fixture for you to learn the fixture creator.
Its 3 channels
COLOUR
STROBE
MOTOR

Choose custom fixture
total channels 3

1st colour channel 1 no colours17
fill in the colour wheel propertys 1 for each of the descriptions in the manual
strobe channel 2 fill in the values for off slow med fast 0 -255
for the motor channel 3 i would use macros.

Hello. I'm brand-new to this forum, FreeStyler and DMX, so I really need some help. I bought a DMXKing ultraDMX RDM Pro USB interface and loaded up FS 3.5.4, but there is no profile for the Chauvet MiniKinta.

Hello all. I just wanted to let you know that the profile for the Mini Kinta is contained in the New_13_10_01 Fixture Updates file. I am so glad I downloaded the updates!

Also wanted to say that after two solid days of messing around with Fixture Creator and FreeStyler, I've successfully created 2, 3 and 4-channel profiles for these LED bar wash lights I bought. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DJ-Light-RGB-Wa ... 4acb5e9b76

I've attached my scans of the manual that comes with them, so you can understand how complicated these things are. Not the best choice for a DMX-n00b, eh? LOL!

I don't think my fixture profiles for them are "bug-proofed" enough to post here yet, but I will once I'm confident in them. I'm really digging FreeStyler so far. Such a powerful program, it's free and there's great documentation/support available. Thank you very much!! I also uploaded a .gif I made of the bar wash (I know I'm way off topic in this thread...but I'm trying to give to the community). Please feel free (Mods) to upload the .gif/user manual to the Wiki. I looked for the email in there to send it to but didn't see it.

I guess it would be helpful to just attached the Mini Kinta Fixture Profile. So here it is.

what program is used to open the pff files? i tried to download the mini kinta file but unable to open it.

Freestyler's Fixture Creator. Usually if you click (or double click, depending on your settings) Fixture Creator is launched and opens the file.
