Just out of curiosity. I am running FSDMX 3.5.2 on Windows 7 64 Bit machine. Recently I have been having FS freeze up. :( I looked through the event log and noticed a few errors from the FS app. Has anyone had any issues with ntdll.dll errors? Anyone seen this before? I wouldn't care but when I installed FS onto another computer I got the same error. :( I copied a few of the program files over to the other PC from Freestyler on the other machine like locations fixture files etc to beable to use the same cues lists etc.

From Windows Event Log.

hi i have taken a look at these .DLL files. and there are differnt reasons why they can give a Error.

BUT!!! they both have a Reason in common.
Because Both files IF Infected with a Virus, Spyware or Mallware can give errors..

so scan your pc and see if this is the case.

Thanks for the response Spirit.

Worked out that it may have been a Windows Update that caused the issue with these 2 files. Ran a second update this week and didn't have an issue after that. I think the combination between the windows update and Artnet using the WLAN and LAN hardware seemed to cause the crash. From what I can tell. I ran it this Sunday without a single crash or issue. Robust as usual. Cheers for the help.

As I'm using a DMX4All ArtNet-DMX Interface, I have the possibility to use a virtual Com-Port. I tried this way, using Com5 and don't have any problems with Freestyler, so I think, the bug will be in the ArtNet Driver. Maybe this Information can help the developers :fs:
