MX-1.fxt : overflow

This is the message I'm getting when starting FS. When I go to the add/remove fixture page the two MX-1s are there, but they're DMX addresses aren't. Putting the addresses back in appears to work, but they don't stay. I also can't remove the fixtures from the list. FS still is working, but this message is annoying. And I haven't been using the Martins anyway.

How did this happen? FS crashed from what appears to be either a bad dmx cable, or not having a terminator. I ended up reinstalling and restoring.

Anyone have a solution?

hi you can set FS back to Factory Default.
Go to your direcory and search for Freestyler.INI and open it with a Notepad.
Search for the line RESET=FALSE. (Second LINE i think ;) )
now change the FALSE to TRUE and save the file and restart FS.
Try your Backup if the issue remains. Reset again and start All over again dont use the Backup.

Would factory default wipe out my sequences etc.?

no i do not think so. but i'm not sure.

but if you First copy the Directorys "Chases" and "Cues" to your desktop then your files will be safe.

OK, I'm finding that this will work, but I'll have to reconfigure the fixtures dmx addresses and reload all of the cues. There's something corrupted somewhere. No matter how far back I go to restore out of several backup files the message returns and the mx-1 icons are missing.

Solved: thanks Spirit

While re-adding the fixtures I got the error message when adding the MX-1 fixtures. That led me to believe the fixture profile was corrupted. So I tweaked it only by changing the GIF image and saving it. That solved the problem. The MX-1s are back but with a different icon.

Try eventually this one.
Martin_MX-01.pff
And from time to time I have some restore files that contain some odd setting. (This is a part of testing betas :D )

So when I detect this I print out the fixture list and manually save my sequences.

Then I make a brand new location add the fixtures on the same addresses again and copy in my sequences
