"Locate Fixture" Button

Basically, on most ML lighting desks there is a "locate fixture" button for use with intelligent fixtures - movers, scanners etc. What this does is the user selects the fixture(s) and hits the locate fixture button. The lamp on the fixture is then set to on (if available), the shutter is opened (if appliucable to fixture), the pan and tilt are set to 127, and the zoom set to max (if there is a zoom). I think this would be a useful feature! Just a little button on the top called "locate fixture". It could save alot of time when programming to select say all my mac 500's and hit locate fixture. Surely it wouldn't be much more coding?

When you are running a show with over 20 movers in it, that can hardly be laziness.... lol

It would still be easier to have "locate fixture button". It would save so much time.

I actually would have to agree with TOM. If you are running a Show and you want to take control of a light. the Locate Fixture Button would be a great time saver. You can also use it to make sure there are not 2 units on the same channels..
