Hey there!
Is it possible, with Freestyler, to control the chase speed (10% - 500%) of cue 1 and cue 2 with the keyboard?
So that i can set 7 to set the chase speed 10%, 4 to set speed to 50%, 1 to set speed to 100%, 8 to set speed to 150%, 2 to set speed to 250% and 5 to set speed to 500%?
Would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure about each cue but i know you can set keyboard shortcuts via setup>>freestyler setup>>external control>>keyboard shortcuts

hi
this is not possible with the freestyler keyboard shortcuts..
BUT you can try to use BOME's MT and change a Keyboard key to a MIDI note..
AS EXAMPLE...
so if you press
7 its will send B0 XX 00
4 it will send B0 XX 20
1 it will send B0 XX 45
8 it will send B0 XX 60
B0 = Control change
XX = the note you will use
00,20,45,60 = Velocity (Seq Speed slider adjust)

I could also just add a MIDI-controller to my Freestyler setup?
XX / note, what do you mean with that?

Hi Guys,
I can recomend glovepie. its a tool that allows you to convert from any kind of input to any other.
You can either use it's scripting language or the GUI. The gui allows you to listen for an input (say a key press) and then assign which midi channel and note is output.
https://sites.google.com/site/carlkenner/glovepie
it's easy to convert from keys, game controllers, mouse movement etc and output midi notes and controllers.
I use it to allow control of freestyler and VJ software using a wiimote and 2 dance mats.
Totally free too
Ben
