Problem with fixture

hey,
i've been messing around with freestyler and 3d easy view to see how it will roughly look for saturdays event, but i've come across a problem. it appears that when i use the martin mini mac's and press the shutter open for the bulb, but nothing happens on 3d easy view? the bulb only comes on when it's in strobe mode only? i don't understand why this is as I've checked addresses etc and everything seems to be right.
can anyone give me any help towards this? thanks
