Simple override question

Hi,

I just wanted to ask a simple question in regards to submasters/override control.

I have a pair of Martin Mini Mac 150's which have a default setting of the center being on the ceiling (or the floor if upside down), but I plan on making a scene to set them to a position where I want them to be as the main center position either by submaster or override. But if I was to then to start another submaster running or select another override, will it override that "so called center position" and effect the moving heads.

So the question is, is it possible to have two overrides/submasters running at the same time??

I've never really used submasters or override to their full content yet, but are planning to in November for a job we have so any help is grateful.

If this isn't possible, is there another way around it so I don't have the center position on the ceiling?

This is because I plan on using the moving heads like an x factor scene, but want to override the chase by bringing them back to the set position I've made. (The so called "center position", not the default one.)

Sorry to be so pushy about this. Hopefully going to be a show I can video for you call to have a look at, so I can get some tips and pointers as well. Any help grateful. Thanks :)

You mean like instead of when you reboot a mac it automatically points to a location you have pre-set? I move the lights to the postion I want them to be at when I load FS and then hit edit 'Save as startup values' I belive using the fixture creator you can also set the default position the light goes to,

Yeah basically, so I don't have re-program that same spot every time. If this works then it will be a lot easier :) Thanks for help and I'll be sure to look into it djsupport.

Look at the default setting here : http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/f ... escription if you need the postion numbers (DMX value) open up FS postion the light and open up the sliders on the right this will tell you the numbers that make it point the way you have set and then you simply copy that into the default box
