Hi,

I've been using the previous version of freestyler for some time now with no problems, however I've just built a new PC installed a fresh clean copy of windows 7 64bit and while I was at it thought I would take the opportunity and upgrade freestyler to 3.5

Here is my problem, I've had the PC running some light sequences for a couple of hours and freestyler all of a sudden stopped responding, the usual windows error popped up "the program stopped working, click here to close" I thought nothing of it at first just put it down to it been windows, however it I took it out on a gig at the weekend and it just crashed randomly again with the same error this was 4 hours into the gig.

Yes I've changed a lot of things here by building a new PC and using the new version of freestyler, but I wondered if anybody can point me in the right direction or if anybody has seen the same issue with the new version.

yes i have the same on a Desktop AM3+ FX6100 (6x3,1GHZ) 8 Gbram, ATi 6700X2 Win7 64bit and Laptop Intel 1,3GHZx2 3gbram.

and the first year i use the laptop i had no Issue's work Prefect!
but now i also have the issue after 1 month re-installed the laptop.

so i think its a WIN updated that massed everything up but i'm not sure.

i also ask the devolper about it and he also tried it on his WIN7, 64bit laptop and he did not have any issue..
also ask Jan_k but no trouble so i have no clue how it happins..

also tried many things to solve it only got more and more error reports on the Windows log events..

but i tried it Yesterday for the first time on the Win8 Beta and i had no issues at all but i dont know how long this will take before i mide get a Issue...or maby not..

also on my Old Win xp laptop that been installed 2 years ago it also still work Perfect...
But i like to use the win7 Laptop because it has a Touchscreen that doesnt work on XP..

also tried the BCF2000/touchscreen on WIN8 and it worked perfect so i will test it on win8 for the upcoming Gigs..
