I have a few questions.

First of all what are the minimum technical requirements of freestyler?

Secondly has any one tested this program in a virtual machine?

Thirdly how many dmx universes can you control with this software

Virtual machine, Don't know.

And 1 univers. How many do you need?.

Yes freestyler supports running in a virtual machine. You need to use the host os to pass the USB dmx adapter into the guest os. Or use an artnet node.
