Midi works in Setup, but not in work...

Post by galactica »

Hi...

I dont know how to name the problem, so i dont know how to search if anybody has a solution for this.

I enter setup, midi control, set the controller for input. I choose start, the function i want to control via my midi keyboard and press edit. I press a key on my midi keyboard and the note and page in the list changes to the data sent from the keyboard (this time for override button one, note 36, page 1, channel n.a.). I leave the edit mode, press save.
But freestyler itself doesnt responds to any programmed key or note. In setup mode it views any incoming midi note from the keyboard, and the override buttons do work with mouse or shortcut from laptopkeyboard, but not from the midi keyboard.

Anybody an idea?
Thanks in advance.
Kai

Problem solved, found the freestyler.ini with the midi trigger 127. Maybe there should be a hint for this in the help file...
Set it to 1 and now it works.

Hi

you can find it on the FSWIKI by the Troubleshoting Section ;)

And a Velocity from 127 Is normal Allmost all Midi controller use this.
But some Midi controller have a Lower velocity.
and indeed on the Freestyler.ini you can change this
