Hey all,

I havent had much experience using this software as ive only just started getting into intelligent lighting.
I been into lasers for years using pangolin software.

I would like to see some sort of easy shortcut for selecting heads to invert/reset x/y.
The though was to be able to assign heads a number so you can use a control panel to easily create shortcuts. Then you can just press a shortcut button so heads will go to preselected x/y.
I know you can do this with macros but I have so many macros it would be easier if it wasnt in the macro list but its own list.

Is this already an option or am I asking for something new?

This might get you close to what you're trying. I would recommend creating a set of fixture groups for your moving heads (one or more heads in each group) then assigning those groups to keyboard shortcuts. For example, I set up my 4 heads in a line across the stage, and have two groups (inner and outer) assigned to the I and O keys for quick selection.

You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to the "flip" function (the same as the flip button in the moving head position window). This function will invert the tilt on all selected heads, but doesn't affect pan. Also, it will NOT permanently invert pan/tilt. All it does is swap tilt to the other side of the line - if you play around with the button, you'll see what I mean.

I realize this isn't really what you're asking for. As far as I know, there is no way to assign a shortcut or button to the invert pan, invert tilt, and swap pan/tilt functions, you have to select the fixtures then right-click them and make your selection from the context menu that pops up.

Your best bet would be to set up a one-step sequence for each fixture (or group of fixtures) and position you want, and assign those sequences to override buttons, which can then also be assigned to keyboard shortcuts. It's also possible to set the override buttons to affect selected fixtures only. I haven't played around with this feature, so I'm not sure if you have to program all the heads in the sequence or not.
