Hello,

I'm new to Freestyler. I was able to get my 4 LED Par cans and strobe light to work but I can't seem to get the Mushrooms to work. There is no fixture for it. It has the following:

Two Channels:

CHANNEL VALUE FUNCTION
Channel 1: Control/Operating Mode
000 - 014 No function
015 - 100 LED's on
101 - 255 Auto

Channel 2: Motor Rotation
001 - 085 Counter-clockwise motor rotation (Slow ~ Fast)
086 - 170 Clockwise motor rotation (Slow ~ Fast)
171 - 255 Motor rotation right-to-left-to-right (Slow ~ Fast)

I'm not sure where the channels and the values go. Please help.

Thank you!

Make a two channel custom fixture put Total channels = 2 in Gobo channel 1 put = 2 then for number of gobos = 9 now go to 1st gobowheel page put in this order for each one 1, 42, 85, 87, 120, 170, 171, 195, 255 search the list for ccwslow med fast etc for the pictures (ccw counter clock wise) and do for the rest hopefully you'll catch my drift.... then when saved with description, manufacturer etc add light in fs and select it open up the gobos for your motor options and on the right side select the arrow to show your sliders on the top slider move it to 15 and your leds will come on tada!

why not Use channel 1 as Shutter ;)

This way you can use the Closed and open buttons for Led Off or on.
And the blackout feature will also work this way ;)
and add the Auto value to a Macro and "Show in" Lamp panel..

Show off... Or you could put channel 1 as colorwheel do the same as the channel 2 make your self some nice custom graphic s for buttons and away you go... That's why we're reluctant to build fixtures for people because at the end of the day you make it the way that feels best for you! ;)

then it seems you run a Older version of FS i think version 3.5.0 haves the new/latest Fixture creator.
becauce you can add Images to Sub directories and the Old version cant do this..

thats why i can not find the images...

Hej again.

That is because, as mentioned above, it is created with the FreeStyler version 3.5.0.

The previously versions don't uses sub folders.

That may be a problem that pops up again because 50% of the new fixtures I have created / added in the "New.zip" are done with subfolders.

yes and do the older fs users know this would cause an issue or could raph do a backward compatabily...?

The problem is that the old FC is used to open a new fixture format with and therefore need to know that this is a new type of fixture.
So the old SW need to be forward compatible and that is not possible.

Oooooooh I would like to have a version no in the pff and fxt files.
The FC could detect that this is a new format I don't know "Please upgrade"

Think the only way is to make a note in the post with the zip.
