so I have the latest version, and whenever I go into sound 2 light mode, and enable it, the "leds" on the next to the upper beat button flicker, but nothing happens to the music. I have the correct sound card selected, and I've tried in-computer sound, mic and line input, but it shows no level in the vu bar. It works when I manual trigger it, but no sound reaction. Help?

Yea I've gone through that dozens of times!

uhmm thats strange because i used the S2L function 2 weeks ago and it works perfect.
it seems theres something going wrong with the Sound input.

I got it to work! for anyone with similar problems, you need to open the volume control, go into properties, select recording, and check the box with wave/mp3, line in, or whatever you want it to react to. then hit ok and a different mixer should pop up. check the box under the slider of the desired input and viola!

Hi, Good info. When you use sound to light what microphone is picking up the audio. Is it the laptop mic or the mics on the lights themselves....??

if you use the S2L software is will allways use the line in or Mic from the pc.

I think it's bc i have a modded computer, with a surround card. Certain defaults were probably not there.
