A Bientot

p.s Un grand bravo pour ce programme qui me ravis a merveille et qui cache plus d'une spécialité!!!!

What button would this be?
Freestyler can accept input from MIDI, KEYBOARD or SENDMESSAGE.
xkeys can send keyboard strokes so will work with freestyler.

Here's what I think:
- A programmable keyboard, can "press" keys for you if you press a key on that keyboard.
- Every function in FS that can be mapped to a key, you can program that key to that keyboard and assign it to a key on that keyboard.

I've worked with programmable keyboards before. PS/2 as well as USB. On all models I could assign an key (or key combination) to a key on that keyboard.
And as long as applications were able to be controlled by that key(s)(-combinations) you can control those applications with all kinds of programmable keyboards.
A lot of functions in FS can be controlled by keys, so without any testing I say it will work. I just cant guarantee that.

Cool. Well I ordered the keyboard and will let everyone know how it worked. Just wish I had more control over the one step scenes I created. Doing lights this weekend for a Metallica Tribute band Battery. 20 Scenes in a cue doesn't seem like enough. Was messing around with the Sm's lastnight and trying to run and stop things really fast but wasn't having much luck getting the timing down. I am running these scenes live. Are the override buttons static? Seems my scanners stop moving and my chases dont work when using these buttons. Maybe I have to plan on using the Cue list, SM's and the overide buttons to trigger my scenes. I will post a video of the show next week. Wish me luck on my first LJ gig.

Overide buttons don't play sequences. They just 'start' the first step in a sequence.
