I want to add dimmer function to two led drivers I have. The drivers are rgb 3 channel drivers. As they are now I can add a dimmer function to any of the 3 channels only problem is it will only dim the colour that is running on that channel. So looking to add a dual channel dimmer about 10 amp that has two serperate outputs to be able to dim them. Does such a thing exist and are they expensive? Also where to buy Or what to search for. Thanks.

if your planing to use a Normal dimmer and put your Led drivers in to it.
i strongly recommend to NOT DO THIS!
because the electronics in side the Led driver are not made to be dimmed.
Never put Elctronic product to a dimmer!
only connect Parcans, bulbs and halogen light to a normal dimmer.

!!! warning !!!

the only way is to find a Led driver that allready have a Dimmer channel on it.
or mady if you good with electronics and its all based on PIC's you can change or modify the PIC inside the Led driver.

as i did with a Strobe that only had a Dimmer and speed slider after i changed the PIC inside the strobe i have a Dimmer, Speed and blind function.

Ok cheers will scrap that idea and look for different drivers for the strip cheers

uhmm the pdf doesnt not say allot.

but you can try to just patch like 10 parcans on freestyler.
drag the slider up one by one and see what happins.
so first you drag one of the 3 first ones up so you get a Color then you try the fourth slider and see if something happpins if nothing try the fifth.

but i can see in de pdf indead therse a Strobe function but you can only use if use the dip switch.
so without DM512

and i also took a look at a page where i get my DMX DIY stuff.
and all there Led dimmers also have no Seprate Master dimmer and strobe function.

as they say is a Decorative Led stips so not realy made for Live show use.

Yea not sure about that one. Still says 3 Channel whch is just the RGB values.

But it says on top left that it occupies 4 dmx channels guessing rgb and dimmer? Does dimmer also do strobe or would that need a 5 the channel?. Oh by the way not doing a live show its for decorating a custom built pc case built from ground up by me
