First of all, thanks to all the moderators and developers for helping the rest of us get the most out of FS. Here is an interesting one I can't figure out. I am running the latest version 3.4.8 and have created several cues and sequences using some LED moving heads. If I choose a cue button, the heads move, colors are correct, shutter is open, all as it should be, and I can continue to choose others buttons with no problems. If I choose a sequence, everything works as programmed. The problem is when I try to go back to a cue button, the heads move to position, but no light, and if I choose one of the heads in the cue and look at its properties, the shutter shows it as being "0", instead of the programmed value. It does this for any cue that I have saved, but only after playing a sequence. If I restart FS, the cues work as programmed again. What is changing the programmed values of the cue buttons after playing a sequence? the only value that seems to change is the shutter setting. I have tried all the obvious, releasing , resetting dmx values, etc.
Thank you for your help. hopefully it is something simple that I am missing.
problem when going from sequence to cue button

Re: problem when going from sequence to cue button
Hej djgreg3823.
Can you try to describe it step by step.
1.
2.
3.
.....
And when you say "cue buttons", then please tell what buttons and how you "Choos a sequence".
Know it sounds like much work but it just to be sure that we can re-create the issue.

Re: problem when going from sequence to cue button
Hi Jan:
See if I can explain this better. Upon starting FS, my site starts with the cue and override button windows open. If i choose an override button, the scene displays as it should. i can switch to other override buttons as well and everything is fine. i can also choose to run a sequence in the cue window and that is ok. i can choose other sequences to run and they are ok. If I go back and try to use an override button AFTER running a sequence, the shutter shows as being "0" instead of the "255" that it is saved as. the colors, pan/tilt, etc do not change, only the shutter defaults to "0". On the cue window, I have enabled and disabled the "release all and disable override buttons", saving and restarting after changing it, with no affect. The programming of the override buttons all show a shutter setting of "0" after running a sequence. If I restart FS, everything is ok again and the shutter settings on the override buttons go back to "255" as programmed. After stopping a sequence, i do not show any overrides (blue triangles) that should be resetting the shutter to "0" on the buttons. Hope this helps. thank you.

Re: problem when going from sequence to cue button
Just a quick reply.
You are aware that the orerride buttons only play the first step in a sequence.
I will have a look.

Re: problem when going from sequence to cue button
An other quick reply during lunchbreak.
I can see that the faders don't always follow the running sequences. (This may not be the case for you)
Open the "output" window and have a look for the actual fixture.
Also if you don't have a dmx dongle pluged in then be sure the that the interface is set to "Virtual"
I have not been able to re-create your issue so I have to look a bit more on it after work.
How many steps are there in your sequences.
And how many many things are set in each step.
