Hotkey mapping (keyboard)

Can anyone give me an example of how they have their keyboard mapped out? I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to be able to run a live show off of hotkeys. I have my groups, blackout groups, all, blackout all, sm's 1-5 go, back, run, stop. Freeze, tap sync, release all, and next gobo and color. Can anyone think of any other hotkeys I might need to use?

How about the most logical way to lay these hotkeys out on my standard keyboard?

Thanks

For as far as I can remember by heart:

F1: Par 1(,5,9...) Flash
F2: Par 2(,6...) Flash
F3: Par 3(,7...) Flash
F4: Par 4(,8...) Flash

F5: Par 1(,5,9...) Solo(flash)
F6: Par 2(,6...) Solo(flash)
F7: Par 3(,7...) Solo(flash)
F8: Par 4(,8...) Solo(flash)

F9: Smoke

Q,W,E,R,T => Submaster 1-5 Back
A,S,D,F,G => Submaster 1-5 Go
Z,X,C,V,B =>Submaster 1-5 Toggle (run/stop)

Page Up: Blackout
Page Down: Freeze

Numpad:
0: TapSync
1: Flash Even pars
2: Flash Odd pars
3: Flash all pars (=blind)
4: Blackout all pars
5: Movingheads open and white (followspot)
6: Thunder: movingheads white/blue split, random strobing
7: Movingheads strobe slow
8: Movingheads strobe med
9: Movingheads strobe fast
+: Movingheads strobe fast, led fixtures to dark blue flashing, pars blacked out
-: Laser

Hoping someone will still read this older post and help me out. I plan on using a similar keyboard layout as mentioned above, seems logical, to step thru my submaster setup. But I was just wondering. If I am on Page 1-5 of my submasters, with unique keys for Go, Back, and Toggle, what happens when I go to Page 6-10 and use those same unique keys, will I also be controlling Page 1-5 at the same time ? I am guessing yes, and am also guessing that if I have more than 5 submasters, I will need to use unique keys for 1-20 (Run 1-20, Back 1-20, Go 1-20, Stop 1-20). That is a lot of keys to setup. I was really hoping that if one moves from one submaster page to the next, we could use the same keys for 1-5, 6-10 etc....

Also, if I hit run for a given SM, do I have to stop it to move to the next one, or can I just use Go and Back, and if the SM is already running, it will simply change the function immediately ??

Thanks for your time
Neil

There are two ways to configure submaster keys:

You can either assign buttons to the sequences (scroll the keyboard shortcut list down about a third). This way you can configure submasters 1 to 20 separately.

Alternatively you can use the submaster shortcuts (about two thirds down in the list). These will run/alter sequence 1 to 5 of the current submaster page. Using my example above, pressing [Z] on page 2 will start/stop sequence 6.
If you use more than 5 submasters, you'll have to change pages. For me, 5 is sufficient.

If I'm right, the submaster toggle works this way:
- If no sequence is running, it will start running
- If the selected sequence is running, it will stop
- If a sequence is running and another sequence is selected, Freestyler will switch to the selected sequence and continue running
