I have just recently gotten into DMX lighting to enhance our band's stage presence and I am having trouble understanding on how to create the fixture for this light considering it doesn't already exist. It has 7 Channels consisting of Control Mode, Color Selection, Strobe, Rotation (motor 1), Stutter (motor 1), Rotation (motor 2), Stutter (motor 2) I've began to realize how hard is to track down support on lasers, I would greatly appreciate any advice!

Hej Jeremy

Is it working or not for you?

The fixture looks OK.
The only thing to note is that I would have placed Channel 3 on the strobe.
Channel 2 as macro.

4 and 5 on Gobo1 / Gobo1 rot
6 and 7 on Gobo2 / Gobo2 rot.

I just got my Interface in today and everything seems to be working OK for now, considering this is my first fixture and I've only known about DMX for like a week now! haha

I'm going to try and make the adjustments you were speaking of, i will post the updated version when i get it working exactly right, if you don't beat me to the chase.

Thanks so much, this laser is amazing and I hope correcting this fixture will allow everyone to enjoy it as much as I am!!

Hej again.

Just a comment.
It is not that the fixture don't work but I like to have faders that can be fine tuned.

If you place Channel 5 on Gobo1 channel and the make 5 icons "Off","1","2","3" and "4" then you can give channel 4 to Gobo1 rot.
Then you will have two faders next to each other where the rot controles the speed and the other with icons controls the mode.

That is a great idea, everything is starting to come together to near perfect! My only problem right now is understanding how to arrange 2 different channels on Gobo1 since they have some the same values, i have everything right for 6 & 7, heres what i have..

To me it looks ok.

You are the only one that can test this fixture and see if there are any errors.

If you want a way to place the speed (Channel 4) in some well defined then you can use some macro icons and then use the show in function.
It could be icons like rotation cw, ccw and then rotation stop.

If you have not been ther yet then visit the wiki. there are some detailed info.

Awesome, this all makes a lot of sense now lol thanks so much, I have a layout that works and functions every value for this fixture, I have sat here and tried it out until I felt something comfortable for myself with your recommendations of course! I understand now that there are infinite possibilities to the way you can layout things lol
