Save/Load cuelist tabs

Post by wardomon »

Here's the deal...

I've created a tab containing the cues for a tune by laboriously dragging the 16 cues to the correct buttons. I'd like to reuse the entire tab in another location. The only way that I know of is to drag those same cues back to the same buttons... again. To fill all 6 cuelists means dragging 96 cues. Even if I label the cues to make it easier (i.e. 01-01-Cuename = Page 1, Cue 1 through 06-16-Cuename) I'm still stuck dragging them back to the right spots. The process if time consuming and potentially error prone. It get worse further down the list because the "add Cue window isn't resizable and it forgets where you are if you close it.

Has anyone figured out how to save/load a cuelist tab?

I've put in a feature request and was rejected. If you have this same issue, help me (and us) out and do the same thing. Maybe if enough of us chime in, we can save some programming time.

I'm posting this entire tirade in the FreeStyler Software section, too.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
