Best ways to perform live

Hello,
Within 2 weeks my aunt gives a birthday party and they asked me to control light and sound.
We will hire the following equipement: 4x moving heads, 2x scanners, 4x par64, 1x fogger, 1x strobe in combination with a enntec pro dmx-interface which I wil be controlling through freestyler-dmx.
I have been playing with freestyler for about 3 weeks now and I'm making progress on learning it. Though I don't really have an idea on how I should control the lights live. So my question: What is THE best/easiest way to perform live with freestyler?
Please note that I don't have a midi-controller.
Is it best to make preset's in a cue and then just play them live? This option doesn't give much flexability to match light with sound and themes...
Thanks in advance!
Iterke

p.s: Sorry for my English, it is not my native language.

hi.

thats a short time to learn lighting.
but the best and most flexiable way to control the lights is with the submaster.
the profesional guys also use this.

you can create a Cue with all the movement other one with color, gobo, GoboRot, prism, Prism rotate, dimmer, shutter, ledchase.
and you can choose which movement or color or gobo or.....
will be played so you can let it look diffenrt each time.
