Waving moving heads

OK, time to try to use the 4 moving heads now. I'd like to put them in a row, equally spaced, and make a "wave" with the tilt, with fixed pan. Not easy to explain as usual, let's say I'd like the tilt of each moving head to follow a sine wave, each one being de-phased of xx° with the previous one. Any idea on how to do this with FS?
Thanks.

you can set up a cue sheet to do it or a macro.....

Hi this is possible, but it requires multiple shapes.
I explained this in the old forum.
In short: edit a circle bezier shape by squeezing it to a sine.
This can be done very precise by opening the circle bezier file with a simple text editor, e.g. notepad.
If I remember correctly, all odd values are pan values. Just change all the odd values to 128, being mid of pan.
Then save the file as sine bezier file.
Now, go back to the circle bezier shape in FS and rotate it by 45° or 90°, depending on the wave "resolution" you want.
Then save it as a circle 45 or 90 file and again squeeze it to a sine as above.
Repeat this 4 or 8 times.
Now you have 4/8 sine bezier shapes, each shifted 90° or 45° to another.
Assign each sine to an individual moving head and store this as a sequence.
And there's your wave!
The only problem is using multiple shapes in the same sequence: creating such a sequence can lead to erratic results...
Success!

Thanks, will try this! Not sure it will work, as you say this part of FS can be a bit tricky...
I'll post if I'm successful

Well, process well understood and it almost works fine....except that when I assign the 2nd "rotated" sine to the 2nd moving head, it just snaps to a fixed tilt
It worked once, I have a scene with 2 waving MH's, but failed at the 3rd one, and even if I try to recreate a new scene, cannot even go past the 1st MH anymore...
