Pan/Tilt "problem" with Lasers

Hello everyone!

I´ve been using Freestyler for a while now, and really like it:)
But I have a small problem when running my lasers, the problem is not in Freestyler, but in the really stupid programming of the lasers themselves, but I hoping there would be a way touse fr
The lasers I use are Stairville DJ Lase MKII series, 4 green, 2 RGY Performance and 2 GVC Performance.
They are basically the same, the multicoloured ones just have an extra dmxchannel for colour.
On all channels except gobo, colour and mode, the functions that control the movement, like pan/tilt, rotation, zoom, X/Y gain and such, the function is a bit stupid, atleast when you want to program a bit more advanced stuff. It functions like this, the first 127 values of each channel is fixed values of say pan/tilt or rotation, and the last values from 128-255 is automatic function of that channel with varied speed and direction.
Can be great for some things, specially rotation, there it is perfect. Same with zoom and such. And for all those channels except rotation and pan/tilt, I´ve made the fixture so that I have 2 functions in Freestyler for each channel, with different intervalls on them, so one slider works with 0-127 and the other with 128-255, this works great, and s very convenient when I use my BCF2000.

But Pan/Tilt is were the problem is, they also have this autofunction for half there values, and to make matters worse, some positions are duplicated, so that say 20 and 120 gives the same position of the beam, incredibly stupid.. I´m gonna investigate exactly which positions are duplicated and were the center location is.

As you can understand this renders the pan/tilt function in freestyler more or less useless, since I cant find a way to make it work just with in a specified intervall. I can do that when using the S2L module and running random dmx values, that works, but not really what I wanna do in the long run, and it also screws up the movements for my Shiva Scanners :P

So, does anyone have a good suggestion? Is there a way to add an interval to pan/tilt in the fixturecreator? I would like to be able to use all the nice functions in the pan/tilt window, fanning and movements and such, I have 8 of those lasers after all.
Or any other suggestion? of course I could put pan/tilt channels on some other function, where I can give a slider an interval to work with, but then I cant use fanning and such? Maybe I atleast could use the FX generator..

Thanks in advance guys!

//Robin

No suggestions on how to "solve" this?

Would it be possible to add a min and max value to pan and tilt in the FixtureCreator? It looks to me like the older versions of the FC didnt have min/max for all the functions like frost/prism and all those, but it does now. Is it possible that a pan/tilt range could be added in the future? is it something that could be easily changed with an Ini file change or something I could do myself?

Or is there any other way this could be done? Cause it would be nice to use the pan/tilt function for my lasers. And I´m sure that I´m not the only one with these lasers, they are cheap and really good value for money:)

Hej Robin

Can you please upload / link to the manual.
Then it is a bit easíer to advise you.

I made a fixture for a laser and had the same problems
I think I placed the movement on the gobo control, so I have the faders to fine adjust and then some icons in the gobo table to place the fader in a well defined position.
