FreeStyler + BCF200, live control

Possibly this information can be found elsewhere in the forum but I have not found it.

I want to be able to do lighting in a situation where I have no knowledge of the show beforehand but still be able to follow the music "on the fly". Synchronizing the lights to the beat and make it look good. (Sorry, I'm too tired to use a correct language.)

The set-up I'm using is 6 dimmer channels of front lights and eight tri-LED PAR cans.

"Well, this is an up-tempo song, maybe I'll do a chase with red and blue on the verse then shift to green and yellow on the bridge. Next time they get to the chorus I'll flash three times with white then run a chase with red and white."

"Next song is a soft tune. Here I might softly fade between purple and blue. At the end of the song I'll fade to black."

I hope you understand what I'm trying to express.

Will the above be possible to do with FreeStyler and a BCF2000 (or multiple BCFs)?

yes this is possible,
when i was on the scene, i would do this using submasters, each submaster would be controlled by the toggle buttons and faders, one vertical group of buttons/encoders/faders per subgroup. with the last two for masters.

best thing to do is simply have a play.
