The first Android App was a bit of a testing ground,

Since the Iphone App is doing so well, and where now looking at over 5k installs.

Im wanting opinion on creating a fresh new app,

my dev focus will be purely between this and the gomonkey of which both are in need of a lot of work.
Other apps will become dis but still available.

I plan to make it native, no more server software and also better screen support for tablets.

The Blackbery play book is currently very cheap, and the new OS will support compatible apps, the current app is compatible and hopefully will be added to the web-store if approved.

Please list a range of must have features. but more importantly how an app will be used,
How offtern are you not next to the pc to control the lights? Perhaps a tablet can be used as a touch screen interface? used for remote focusing? you dj software is on the same screen so the phone controls sequences?

Hi Matt,

I have used the Android App with my SE X10 for maby 3or4 times, Just played a little bit with the Override buttons.
Because i Use the Submasters to PLay everything back. and therefore i Dont use it anymore.
Because there is no Submasters system. allthough dont have any idea to make that work nice.
And to type all the Sequence names to it would be a Pain in the @$$.

Q1)How offtern are you not next to the pc to control the lights?
Q2)Perhaps a tablet can be used as a touch screen interface?
Q3)used for remote focusing
Q4)you dj software is on the same screen so the phone controls sequences?

A1)I'm Allways Behind the Lightingdesk, Only when i need to go Smoke a sigret, Eat and when i need to go to the toilet.
A2)That Sounds GREAT! if its going to be somekind of UI2
A3)YES that would also be Great, i just miss the Pan and Tilt channel so i can Focus the Postion Quicker so i dont need to Walk between the lighting desk(FS) and Front of Home all the time ;)
A4)I'm no DJ But i see allot of DJ's that have this Issue, Never thought about this fix. so i would say again, a Great idea!
