I am new to using a computer and freestyler for programming. Currently I use a Leprechaun lighting board to run some elation par 36's at my church. With that I am able to turn on the colors I want and then program several scenes to a slider that I can manually go through. Recently I have decided to set up some lighting in the youth room with several of our left over ADJ p64's. So I purchased the gus electronic usb to dmx and downloaded freestyler to run the lighting but I havnt figured out how to just program a color that can stay static and be manually changed by myself. I used the cue list and programed some colors but they cycle through in a loop. I turned the loop off but then I couldnt figure out how to change between the colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oke you made ONE sequence with Multipule Steps. So i can understand your problem.

You need to Create Seperate Sequences With Just ONE color Programed on ONE sequence.
Now you can Drag and Drop all the Seperate Sequences to the Cue And play the Color you like.
(i Use the CUE window for Sequence that have MORE then one step, and you can only Play 20 Sequences at the Time)
Works with LTP.

You can also Use the Override buttons.
So drag and Drop the Same Sequences to the Override buttons.
and you can Say Which Sequence You like to Play with a Press of a Button.
(I use the Override buttons For Static Values So sequence That only haves ONE step, and you can Play 180 Buttons and the same Time.)
Also works with HTP.

i also Recommend to look at this page http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/ you can find allmost everything on the WIKI.

Hopefully this helped you.

Thanks for your help. Works great. I was looking for an option of an infinite hold time. That way you could program multiple colors on one sequence and then use just a manual trigger to go through the colors. Then also wouldnt be limited to the number of static colors that could be used. The plus to this way is that I know what each step is and can skip around easily if I want to. The down is that I am limited to 20 scenes. I tried the override buttons but it appears that when you use those then the fade time is lost and it is just an instant switch between colors. I do have a question. What are the cue list buttons on the right side for? I saved my current cue list to one of the buttons. When I click on it i notice that it loads all the sequences I have saved but it automatically plays all of them at the same time. Is there a way to save multiple pages of cue lists with different sequences and is there a way to keep it from playing all the sequences at the same time when the button is selected? Again thanks for your help!

I did finally figure out the manual tap button after watching a video on Youtube. I tried to use it once before but couldnt ever get it to work for some reason but it work fine this time. Slowly but surely getting there!
