Magic 3D Fixtures not in Freestyler help please

Hi I'm sorry to ask as I am new to the forum and like to try and sort things myself. I'm sure there is a simple explination but some of the fixtures I have and that work in Magic 3D are not in the Freestyler fixture list. Is there a way to import or impliment the magic 3D list in freestyler? I have two Mad Scan ITM 250r scanners for instance. These are listed in Magic 3D but I can't see them in the list of fixtures in Freestyler and it would be great to be able to use them rather than try, as a novice to write a fixture for it. Many thanks.

Hello, Funny i see that someone added New Forum Rules to the Create fixture Page.
Forum rules
This forum is designed for you to get HELP with building fixtures, Please make an attempt if you get stuck YOU must upload your partial fixture file (as an exported fixture file) so we can point you in the right direction if you don't do this you won't LEARN and if you don't learn you will may never be able to get the fixtures you require. It is Very hard to make fixtures for people when we don't have the same light at hand to test it with after all having the light in front of you makes programing so much easier! That's why we will help but rarely build any fixtures for you. You Alone are the best person to build your fixtures if you need help ask if you want it building for you Don't....
I agree :D

But terrylee There is NO Magic3d to Freestyler converter.
So you need to Try this your self (See tekst above)
But offcourse i will help you, but it would be realy nice to have a DMX chart list/Channel list.
so i can see you the Fixture works.
Also look at this page it will Give you allot of info about fixture creator http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/fixture_creator

It's OK as I said I like to work things out for myself. If I get stuck I'll ask. I simply did not want to wade through learning how to build a fixture and then discover all I needed to do was an import from somewhere. The scanners I have are old and I don't even have a manual for them. However if I link them up and just do a basic 5 channel fixture I can make them work and if I load Magic 3d viewer and select Mad products and then select ITM 250R from the list everything works perfectly. I.E. the gobos select the correct gobos the shutter works as it should pan and tilt and colour selection. So I am on the the right track. It would just be nice to select Mad ITM 250R from Freestyler too. So if you say I have to make a fixture then I will. I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks for answering and please bare in mind I'm a total novice and have only had the program a couple of days and only been working with DMX for a couple of months. Thanks Terrylee
