Hi guys,

I have the latest beta of freestyler (2.96h I believe), however when I click the little icon to open up easyview, I just get an error messga esaying "faild to open DLL functions" and then it doesn't open.


Any ideas?

Reinstall easy view?
Unfortunately thats my only suggestion, maybe the dll is missing , corrupt, not registered?
so could be the only option, luckily there is a way to manually install easyview and i think there is a tutorial on this forum available.

can you open it manually i.e not from freestyler but fro the program directory?

I also have this problem, would be very useful to have a solution.

You can open it on its own but that means it wont work with freestyler then.

but will distinguish if the problems easyview or freestyler.

I imagine sunlite have updated the visuliser, send Raph a bug report and he will update if required.

It does work on its own but not through freestyler, ill speak to this guy you said about.

The FreeStyler installer installs an older version of the MEVP.DLL file.
Replacing this file with the latest version fixes this issue.

A new installer will be uploaded asap.

I had the same problem but now I can open the 3D view. So... now.... how do you SEE the light in the 3D view move when I manipulate it in Freestyler?

You have to click on the constructio hat, then add fixtures and place then where you need them. You als must make sure the dmx value match what hey are in freestyler.
