turn a fixture upside down?

Hello again,
Ok, EV works very cool with FS and I have been able to add all of my current fixtures to both applications... however, I don't use the Chauvet Kinta in the traditional sense. It is on the floor behind the drummer so that it fans upward. Is there a way to turn it upside down in EV?

Thanks again. This is becoming fun!

Yes If your in construction mode.
And you select the kinta fixture, you see on the bottom left of EV X, Y, Z And dX, dY, dZ with the last 3 you can rotate the Fixture.

Thanks for the reply... I must have not done it correctly or far enough, as I tried those functions... I will try again. Having the light beam from the Kinta (in EV) should help.

Steve,

In EV all values can be a - as well as a +. All rotate tools will only go to 180 deg or - 180 deg. Some
times you need to go into the - to get the position you need.

Also are you in the UK? I have a brand new 4 channel dimmer pack from Transension (bought for a job that it was not needed on in the end) I can do you a good price on it if you are interested, also being in the UK will be a plus as postage could make it not worth doing.

Ill PM you my mobile if you want.

Hi Lee,
Not in the UK... I up in the NE corner of the US in Washington state, near the Canadian border. I should have the replacement dimmer tomorrow... if it fails like the first we can talk about a deal.

Once I got accustomed to the interface I was able to get the Kinta turned just the way I want in EV... I don't have it in the chain yet, but that's on today's list. I need to have a portable steel floor stand fabricated for it which is easy here.

I'm having fun with this now and am comfortable enough that I can work on setting up scenes and chases. I have been studying the wiki so I don't have to ask quite as many questions on here.
