Request - Chauvet Kinta X - Solved!

Post by Cliff »

I am looking for some help with this.

I am new to Freestyler and trying to get my head round things.

So far I have managed to be able to turn these lights on/off - Speed control - Left/Right - Auto Left/Right

My problem is that my settings now interfere with the Rotary heads (x6) and the Showtec Par 56 LED's

Would appreciate some hints/tips or a download if somebody has already worked it out??

ok, it would seem that this unit is just 2 channel.

So I use ch1 for turning the lights on/off and ch2 for control of the motor which is Off, Left, Right, left/right auto.

I am about to dig it all out after unloading from a busy busy week, so I will post the settings here a bit later tonight or tomorrow at latest.....

Here are the settings.

Create a Fixture with 2 channels.

Channel 1 (Lights)
000/014 = OFF
015/255 = ON

Channel 2 (Motor)
000 = OFF
001/085 = Reverse Slow/Fast
086/170 = Forward Slow/Fast
171/255 = Auto Forward & Reverse Slow/Fast

Personally I prefer them to run slow and auto forward/reverse.

Would like a macro to switch them on/off and to run them auto forward/reverse (171) but I do not yet know how to create that...if anybody does I would appreciate some help....

Been brainstorming overnight and I am now pleased to say that I have got the Creating Macro's to a fine art...thank goodness it wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be.

Have now created a complete set of Macro's for the Chauvet Kinta X and updated the Macro's for the Showtec Par 56 LED's.

Now just got to find out what's going wrong with the Laser's in my other post... :fs:
