Hello,

my dad bought few times ago a Varytec LED Laser 4.

In the discreption of this light it says, that you can program it with 6 dmx channels - but I don't know how it works and I've searched the forum and can't find anything about this.

Somebody can help?

I could not find the DMX table direct on the net and witout that it is quit dificult to help you.

in this row i got 2 Showtec Micro Spot Moving Heads with 13 chan.
So I want to have it after this 2... Starting Adress is 1 at Moving Head 1 and 14 at Moving Head 2 ... Must be 27 than i think

You have to make a fixture for this device in Fixture Creator.

Total channel 6

Shutter ch. 1, Open = 0, Closed = 255

On the color control
Enable CMY /RGB and enable RGB values.
Then Red Ch. = 2
Green ch. = 3
Blue ch. = 4

Then you have the 37 programs.
There is no values given that tells wher the shift from one program to the next are.
The easy way to figure that out is save the fixture add it in Freestyler and then turn it all on.

In right side of "FreeStyler" there are 6 faders when you have selected the laser fixture.
Adjust fader 6 to half position.

Then slowly move fader 5 and record all the values where the programs shifts.

When you have these values then you go back to Fixture creator.

Place the Gobo ch 1 0n 5 and n gobos = 38
Gobo rot1 6

Then you have to fill in all the program values.
Don't use the shift values but the in between values
Example: Shift value from program 10 to 11 is 150, and from 11 to 12 is 160.
Then the value you are to enter for gobo 11 is 155. The between value.

The to the don't like thing.
Go to wiki, read the Fixture creator tutorials.
There are hints on image sizes, file names and much more.

Know the you want to turn on the laser as fast as possible but take the time to do this correct.

Because you don’t know anything about DMX.

This has nothing to do with DMX.

You just have to fill-in numbers from one table into an other.
I have pin-pointed the numbers.
The only next thing to do will be filling in the numbers. That isn’t difficult.

You sound like my son when he try to avoid working.
