i have a setup with twelve NC mini washes, model number NC-L18A
today i was programming them using freestyler, and one of them exploded.
it burst into flames destroying a power cable and several dmx cables,
does anyone know what caused this and if the others are likely to follow suite.

i don't know,
the fire was on the Other side of the light,
the side away from the power intake
this particular light never properly aligned, alwase went back to a different place
does anyone think the broken point zero switch somehow caused the engine to overheat?

Hi,
It could have been any number of things that went wrong, for example:
- To much power on an single extension.
Not the correct fuse in the power lead, if it's detachable.
It could have been dust that's clogged up over a period of time in the fan and it's got kept the fixture cool, causing it to blow.
It have been too much power on a single phase.
That's just a few examples of what could have made it blow, or it could have been something totally different that I've not mentioned. Just thought I'd give a rough idea so you know for next time.

I had a par can blow on a job last night but I believe it was because I had cheap bulb in it, one that I was using before putting new ones in that were a bit more expensive.
