How do you integrate amber and white colors in Freestyler?

I know that fixture creator has been updated to now include a feild for Amber, White1 and White2. I have RGBA and RBGAW par cans and I created fixture profiles and can control them just fine. The only problem is that when controlling the lights in Freestyler, the color picker (or color wheel) window does not control the Amber or White LEDS. Those colors show up on the sliders at the top right slide out window and I can manually turn them up with the sliders, but they do not seem to be able to be accessed by the color picker window. Example, on an RGBW fixture I created a fixture profile for, when I select the color White on the color picker, the red, green and blue LEDs come on to make white, but the actual white LEDS do not. I have to manually turn them on with the sliders in that upper right hand window. How do you intergrate the Amber, WHite 1 and WHite 2 LEDs so that they are accessed by the color picker for color mixing?

There is no Way to do that. because the devolper did not make a RGBAWW color picker only a RGB color picker.
But i also have been thinking of a RGBW color picker for a start, still need to search ware the Amber goes.
But i will Ask the devloper about it.
But don't expact it will be added in the next Release.

Thanks for the help and the reply. I will goto the bug report and suggestion page and open a ticket for the developer to have in Que. There are so many RGBA, RGBW and RGBAW led lights coming out right now that the color picker really should be able to incorporate them into color mixing at this point.

I just filled out the request new feature form, but the very first field (category) will not let me fill anything in and the drop down box says category. I tried submitting the form anyway, but got an error message saying I need to fill in that feild, but I can't. Is there a bug with the Bug report form? That would be ironic.

Just realized I didn't select something from the very top right drop down menu. After doing that, the catagory drop down window had choices. I submitted the feature request. Hopefully Ralp or the developers can address this issue sooner rather than later.

My bug report was closed due to it being a duplicate of yours. Ralphs reply basically sounds like he's saying Amber and white can not be incorporated into the color picker as tthere has never been a color picker made to do so since all color picking softwae is RGB based. There must be a way to write a program or algorithm to incorporate these additional colors. Otherwize, guys with 4 and 5 color lights will be stuck either manually sliding faders or not utilizing the extra colors. I hope Ralph or someone can overcome this obstacle.

Your issue is still open Mine is closed.
But your issue ask for Feedback, But if you think it solved your problems you can close it.
But yes your right all the programs still uses a RGB colormixer because there is no-one that afer made a RGBAW color mixer.
but he also says its only made for Color corections Like the CTC, CTO.
R B G W
255 168 0 83 (White 2700K)
255 180 0 155 (White 3200K)
247 214 19 255 (White 4200K)
217 251 50 255 (White 5600K)
168 255 84 255 (White 8000K)
These are Gide lines every led is differnt
And thats also the hard thing about a Colorpicker.
you allways need to correct the Color so it looks good on the type of led you use.

I have searched like all of you for a RGBA color picker to no avail. And Spirit brings up a great point where he says it depends on the LED, etc. So I think I am going to have to build one. The basic design would have individual adjustments of each color from 0 to 1023 steps (10-bits/color x 4 = 40 bit color) or selectable to 0 to 255 (8-bit x 4 = 32 bit color). I am using it for LEDengin 10W and 40W LEDs for color palette creation. I'll add numeric or maybe hexadecimal LED meters to display each LEDs byte value, and provide a constant current, adjustable to desired drive current foe each.
Also I need to place "candidate" colors in several memory location for comparison purposes.
Are there any other features any of you can suggest?
