Issue #1.
I have Chauvet Colorsplash Jr's (small LED PArs) in my truss and have programmed several sequences that work fine. I can play the indivudual sequence from the create sequence window or insert my sequence into the Cue window and trigger them from there. I also have 4 Chauvet Qspot LED 150 Moving heads and I created submasters to control the various aspects of the lights and they work fine. I made the submasters according to the instructions someone wrote and posted on Wiki. Anyway the issue is that the Colorsplash jrs work fine when they are running by themselves, but as soon as I activate any of the submasters for the Qspots, the Colorsplash Jrs start flashing like a strobe in whatever color they were previously in and no matter what I do in the cue window (hit stop, slow down the sequence,, etc.) nothing works. They are stuck in a strobe mode and I have to shut Freestyler down and restart. I know that when I open the submaster window that whatever aspects of the moving heads I am controlling will place themselves in the Cue sequence slots, so I put 4 Colorsplash Jr. sequences all the way at the bottom. Since my Moving head submasters only # 5, There is no overlap. I also checked all my fixtures and DMX addressing and there is no overlap of the DMX channels between any lights. Why are the Jrs spazzing out when I activate my Moving Head submasters??
Issue #2.
When I was creating the submasters for the moving heads, I followed the Wiki guide on creating Submasters and have a submaster for Movement, One for color, one for gobo and one for prism. I created another submaster to turn the LED's of the Qspot 150's off and on. I did this by first clearing the cue window, then closing the Cue window, opening the create sequence window and opening the shutter and intensity sliders all the way. When I did this I could see the Qspots LED's come on. all other sliders for the different function of the light were set to "OFF". I saved that as a sequence and checked the box to add it to the cue. I named it Q150 Lamp On. Then I created another sequence and this time turned the shutter and intensity sliders all the way down to the left so that the lights went out. I saved it as Q150 Lamp Off and checked the box for add to Cue. Then I saved the cue window as a Cue named Q150 Lamp. Next I opened the submaster window and clicked on the Cog icon and selected add Cue and selected Q150 Lamp and put it in submaster box # 6. I repeated this entire process to create a submaster for the strobe function as well. Well, all the submasters worked perfectly except for the Lamp and Strobe submasters. They did absolutely nothing when I activated them. The only way I can get the lamp on is to goto the slide out window located at the top right corner and move the shutter and intensity sliders up all the way to turn the lamp on. To strobe I have to use the shutter slider or use the slow, Med, fast strobe buttons. Why would I be able to create submasters that work for every aspect of the moving heads except for strobe and lamp on and off?
I have a show this Saturday so any help before then would be greatly appreciated.
