Laptop battery exhausted while running a cue

The battery on my laptop ran out as freestyler was running a cue. Freestyler won't run now as a result. I tried installing the latest version and installation gets interrupted which an error message.
All I can think of is uninstalling first, but will lose the latest sequences that were added.
Any solutions?

You can create a back up file of your show, you can find it under "FILE"

Freestyler won't open, so it's a little late for creating a back up. It hangs while trying to open. ver. 3.3.2

Realy strange.
But maby you can try this:
Go to the Freestyler directory default: C:/Freestyler
Now search for Freestyler.ini en open it as a Notepad.
now search for:
[ResetAll]
reset=False
And remove False, and type in true.
now save the notepad and restart freestyler.
Maby this will help.

I guess I'll have to transfer my latest back up from the other laptop after uninstalling and reinstalling FS.

In the past when a similar thing happened to me i copied the entire Freestyler directory ( default location C:\freestyler), to another location like your desktop, then uninstalled Freestyler, rebooted the machine to complete the uninstall, Install freestyler from fresh and then simply copy the contents of the Cues and chases directory from the backed up directory to the freestyler install directory.
(copy cues to cues and chases to chases, essentially these files are txt files with a different extension so they shouldn’t need registering or anything fancy like that)
If you have saved locations you can do the same with this.
