Fixture not showing in Magic 3D

Hello!

I made an RGB fixture, 7ch, in Freestyler. Made a stage with 4 fixtures.

Launched Magic RGB to animate the same, the fxture does not show up in the add fixtures dialog.

Would i need to recreate the fixture for Magic 3D also ? The import feature defaults to freestylers scan library folder, where this fixture does not reside. It is there in freestylers Fixture folder.

Thanks a ton!

Apologies if im being daft. First day with freestyler. 2 days with DMX/Lights.

Tx again.

Nope Magic 3d uses are differt type of fixture file so you also need to make a new fixture for Magic 3d
you can do that with Scanlib

you can find it in c:/freestyler/Scanlib.exe

I have an RGB 7ch fixture.

1. Master
2. Red
3. Green
4. Blue
5. Flash (above selection)
6. Macros (auto color change)
7. Macros speed

I cant seem to programme the same in 3D. Ch 1,2,3,4,5 work, flash to activate but speed control seems exsesive. Cant understand how to programme the macros.

Kindly advise.

Thanks a ton!

Thats extremely kind of you!

Thanks a super ton! Files attached. I presume the freestyler fixture file will work correct with the fixture cause it juts outputs DMX, it's the 3d file that would be out, cause its a bit beyonf my understanding ?

Thanks agin! Files attached.

The forum would not allow *.fxt file extensions, strange, so i zipped the freestyler fixture file.

Hello, sidhu
lol, sorry but you did everything correct.
but 3d view doesn't support just a Speed channel or a Mode Channel
allot of features works great but not all, also some of them are realy hard to let it work.
and 3d view also runs in "limited Mode"

also next time add the .pff file instead of the .fxt file
how to make a .pff file, open fixture creator (FC) , press on "file" and then press on "Export"
.fxt file = is a file that freestyler (FS) use
.pff file is a file that contance everything, so made for exporting.
(thats also the reason the forum did not accept .fxt file ;) )

and if you think you fixture is ready and other users can benefit of your fixture file.
you can add it on http://www.freestylersupport.com/fsforu ... m.php?f=23

Excellent! Thank you so much Spirit!

Im just gonna wait a bit and then order the Enttec Open DMX controller, when im sure, everything i do goes to this community!

Once again, gratitude.

Mny more question coming up. Im still a bit zapped with sequencing and cue lists and submasters. So lemme get into that a bit.

Cheers!

Hallo, sidhu

i will hear it if you have any trouble also take a look at the Freestyler wiki
http://www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/

and about the enttec open, some people realy like the enttec open en some other doesn't like the enttec open.

like me, i have a Enttec open and it's realy a Pain in the @(#*^%.
i have allot of trouble with the enttec open it lock up all the time. some days it's work perfect and the next day it can lock up all the time.

so i also have the Enttec pro and have never had any trouble. it works PERFECT.

so take a look at it again.
