OK I know people already know about this bug. That's how i heard it was a bug.
How do you work around it? Do you create shapes and then save them into sequences? Will the sequence still play or does the sequence crash as well?

It would be helpful if you'd specify what bug are we talking about EXACTLY, so we could help. We all know shape generator is not perfect, but it does the job fair enough.
I suggest to take some time and browse the forum and bug tracker, you might find many useful threads that may help you with your problem.
I save shapes as cues, which can be run from override buttons (I find shape is a 1 step sequence in FS no matter wich version are we talking about, so it can be triggered with buttons) or as sequence (submaster), where you have the liberty of controlling its speed.
I, however, never experienced a sequence crashing FS nor the show so far. [:knock on wood:]

Kristjan

Sweet didn't know it was a one step seq so can be over ride! That's great news!
The bug i was talking about is where if you just pull up the fixture and click 'on' or off or go back and forth a couple of times it stops working. Everything else is fine but the fixtures don't move. So I'm just wondering if you save it off in a sequence / override if it will continue working. Sounds like it will! (Awesome!)
