Having some issues with the Intensity slider on LED fixtures

Hi,
I'm finally getting back to learning and using freestyler. I've run into a problem with some of my LED fixtures.
I have two Chauvet Colorsplash JR PAR38 that i'm messing with right now.
I'm using the fixture files that comes with freestyler. The Intensity channel is set correctly in the fixture file. With the colorsplash, the Strobe/Dimmer are on the same channel (2) and the dimmer uses value 128-255 for dimming.
I added some cues with sequences to the submaster. Here's a couple scenarios I noticed.
First Scenario: The master fader isn't scaling with the min/max intensity values set to the fixture.
1. When the SM fader is at 0, the SM disables, the intensity channel goes to 0. Which seems right.
2. Moving the master fader from 100% will reset that intensity channel. (Moving to 97% will change the value to 247)
3. If I continue to move the Master fader, the intensity values aren't scaling with the master fader. Once I goto 51% on the master fader, the value is at 129, Value 128 should be off on the fixture.
4. Once I move the master fader to 50% the channel value jumps to 255 and doesn't move from that value the lower the fader is.
Second Scenario: SM Fader also not scaling with the min/max intensity values.
1. When using the SM Fader, it moves the channel from 0-255.
2. Shouldn't the fader be moving it from 128-255? Where 0% on the SM fader is 128 and 100% is 255?
3. Because of this, the fixture will start strobing once the SM fader goes below 50%
It's highly possible i'm not doing something right.... Is there any possible workarounds, like keeping the strobe/intensity channels at 255 and disabling the intensity in the fixture, so I can use the virtual dimmer instead?
I also have a similar issue with my Venue LED par64's.
Any suggestions? Comments? etc?
Thanks, Once I figure out these little things, it'll make using it a lot easier. I'm using the BCF2000 to control it. but using the sliders with my current issues, is almost useless. Since dimming past 50% will go to instant strobe.
