Any help please on what this could be??

Never seen that before. Did you try a system restart?

Hi yes did a restart & same thing happened again. Worked ok for about 5 mins after I did a delete & re-install. Worked up to the point of me adding my dmx controller, then it gave up on me saying about wanting to close the program of checking online then close the prog!

Baffles me!! I've tried to make a bug report, but it wont let me into it for some reason. WIll try to change password to see if it is the log on process that im having probs with.

remember to make a new user when you want to use the bug tracker.. as it states on the login page, the bug tracker dont use the same accounts as this forum

btw... have you tried to install the driver for the interface again (if there is one)? maybe even found another version and tried that one? which version of FS are you using?

Hi, I have now got a username for bug tracker, so I will put it up asap.

I am using FS 3.3.2 on Win 7, dont know if its Win 7 having a funny on me, the FS, or the Monacor software.

Its winding me up as all I want to do is get on & use it now!

I have tried to report a bug on the bug fix page, but it won't let me select a category from the top of the menu as it is empty! It's the part that has an asterix by it & it won't let me report the bug without a catagory.

Thanks

This is my first post so i did a little search on the web As i can see your interface driver is designed for xp so the first thing i suggest you is to roll back to xp and the second is to try the latest freestyler 3.3.9 with some bug fixes that maybe should correct the problem

in the Project drop down menu you have to select the subproject "Freestyler 512" in stead of "Freestyler" which is the main project.

I have added a remark for each main project which has sub projects which explain this :)

If you have more questions regarding the bug tracker let me know

Hi

I have purchased a DMX 510 dongle instead now, got rid of the other 120, but this one dont work now!!

I am running driver 1.0.0.6 (19/12/2007) by microchip technology inc. is there any newer driver that people are using with this dongle??

I have tried using this dongle (510 USB) with a win xp netbook & also a win 7 netbook, any ideas as to what may be the problem??

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the link,

I have had a go at this software update, but it doesnt work with my setup unfortunately.

I will keep on trying......... :(

I have asked monacor for another compatible driver to see if it will work, either that or I will have to ask for a firmware update to see if that is the problem.

I have had a go at everything so far!

Thanks for your help so far guys (& gals!)
