Create a Dimmer channel

Hello,

To begin, I'm french and my english is not the best we can read. So, I'll post in english and french for the both "helper" !

I have bought a Led Par SHOWTEC 3 weeks ago. I have created my fixture file, and this great works with freestyler.
But among the 6 channels of the fixture, there is no dimmer channel.

It is possible to create a "virtual" channel who create this dimmer "effect" ?

I've seen somebody on a french forum who successfully created a script with the software "GrandMA" who controls a virtual channel like dimmer.
It fades linearly the RGB colors to simulate dimmer.

Is it possible to do the same with freestyler ?

Thanks for your answers and sorry for this approximately english.

Bonjour,

Amicalement,

Tigrou007

Can you elaborate on what you call a virtual dimmer? What are the current 6 channels ?

No this is currently not possible.
However freestyler does dim automatically dim these types of fixtures with the intensity control for each sub master and the master intensity will also dim this fixture.

Run your cues from the submaster and you will be able to dim the fixture.
