Hi!
I have 4 moving heads of the same type but on different DMX addresses. I wonder if it is possible programming a sequence which can be used with everyone of the heads. The idea behind is to create just one sequence and activate it on one head by selecting thte head and then starting the sequence.
Hope I was clear enough.
Thanks
Andy
create a moving sequence for 1 movinghead & use it for many?

I think the feature you are looking for is called "clone Fixture" in FS. Right click on the fixture you want to be a"clone", click on clone and select which fixture it should be a clone of. now when you a playing a sequence for your first moving head, the others you have selected to be a clone, should do the same.

Re: create a moving sequence for 1 movinghead & use it for m
Hi!
Thank you for your answer, but it seems I was not clear enough.
Let's say I want to have 8 different one-step-sequences for my moving heads, containing just the moves (a circle, an eight, a square, and so on...).
I have 4 moving heads of the same type but on different DMX addresses.
What I want to do now is to select the moving head and then activate one of the 8 sequences on that head, afterwards I select the next moving head and activate an other sequence on it.
I want to be free in combining the moving heads with the sequences, but I do NOT want to clone the MHs as they have to execute only the sequence I have activated.
Thank you again
Andy

ahhh,, I see,, then the answer is no.
a sequence is recorded for the specific DMX addresses, so you have to make individually sequences for each of your heads.. for now any ways.. you can always make a feature request for this at the bug tracker website
