hey all. Has anyone run into a problem with foggers not responding to DMX? I have two antari z-1200 II foggers and neither will respond to freestyler. I can hook them up to a hog 2 and they work fine. I'm using a velleman VM116 interface. Suggestions?

im having issues with this smoke machine, using an enttec open dmx. should the green light on the back light up when it has dmx input?? cos im not getting that lit

but i can control it with a scanmaster sm1612

i believe the green light only goes on when the hazer or smoke machine is ready and warmed up

i meant on the back of the machine rathe than on the remote, the one on the machine went out when i unplugged it from the SM1612

i also have a SM1612.
maby you can try to hookup the hazer on the SM1612.
now look at the Back of the SM1612 there is a little black Switch.

with the switch you can change
pin1:common
pin2:-
pin3:+

to

pin1:common
pin2:+
pin3:-

look up which on works maby you need to make a Patch cabel
