Possible bug?

I run multiple types of fixtures in Freestyler (uplights, scanners, moving heads) and I noitice that from time to time I will start a cue or control lights directly only to find that the lights have become unresponsive to the commands I'm sending from Freestyler. I have to shut down Freestyler and then reopen it and then everything works fine again. I usually have to do this several times durin g a show. This has been happening to me from day one when Freestyler was around version 3.1. It seems that somewhere along the line, the initialization is being lost or corrupted and restarting the program re-initializes everything. I mainly use a 10 inch Acer netbook so I don't know if it's the computer or the software. I am doing a show tomorrow night and will be using Freestyler on My main DJ computer which is a Dell XPS15. I will see if I have the same problem tomorrow, but in the meantime, has anyone else encountered this and if so, what's causing it and is there a solution to fix it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Please specify your USB DMX device.
It is probably a USB glitch which is locking up the device. Common in the enttec open and other non isolated DMX dongles.
I used to get the issue when dmx lines were to close to powerline or Foggers.

I have had the same problem. Using Enttec Open DMX. Seems I have narrowed it down to the fog machine too. I am going to experiment and post back! Any help would be great!
