putting ONE strobe in a sequence-

I have my first show on friday. So far I've got a few sequences made, 3 things in my cue list. I have 4 LED pucks to control, and I think I will end up doing a lot of it on-the-fly because of my lack of ideas on exactly what to program right now.

One thing I'd like to do is create a sequence where I 'snap' or 'fade' various colors and then have a small period of time in between with the shutter going (a burst of 'strobe'). I push the shutter slider up and add that to the sequence, then slide it back to zero and 'off', switch to the next color and add that to the sequence. I've tried this quite a few times and still get the same result: as soon as it gets to the step with the shutter, the entire rest of the sequence keeps strobing the colors even though I put the slider back to zero before saving my next step.

So right now if I want a quick strobing effect I'll just be just using the slider on-the-fly for selected fixtures. I'd rather have it set as a button on a particular speed, but I don't want to run the risk of not being able to shut it off. This happened during my practice run last night. :(

any ideas are always appreciated.

(btw, my kitchen looks awesome lit up by LEDs and Freestylin' )

The step after the strobe, when you put the slider back to zero, are you also using 'snap' or 'fade' for that channel when saving? If set to off, I would assume the following sequences will keep strobing.
